These are unprecedented times, please bear with us as we navigate with you. We understand that life during this Coronavirus Pandemic has been turned upside down across the globe, and is difficult for so many of us on different levels. Our plan is to continue to do what we do best: be accommodating, kind and really clean!
Maine currently has a 4 phase plan to reopen the state. Recently our Governor has implemented an alternative to the 14 day quarantine and fast tracked our opening day!
The latest news from the Maine Governor’s office and “Keep Maine Healthy” announced: Residents from New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey can come to Maine without testing or quarantine and stay over in a hotel, inn or B & B. Visitors from all other states who have taken and received a negative Covid-19 test 72 hours prior to arriving in Maine may forgo the 14-day quarantine. Guests should be tested and receive results in their home state before traveling to Maine, however the Governor did say that testing would be available here without a separate order from a health care provider.
The state of Maine will ask visitors from all states to sign a Certificate of Compliance indicating that they have received a negative test result for COVID-19 or have quarantined for 14 days in advance in the state of Maine. This compliance form must be presented at check-in at all Maine Lodging, short term rentals, campgrounds, AirBnB, VRBO, etc.
For Reservations or specific questions on what this means for you, Call 207-646-8115 8am-9pm or toll free US and Canada 1-800-556-4402 or email us info@wells-ogunquit with your dates and we will send you some options! We have relaxed our cancellation policies to 48 hours prior to arrival during COVID-19!
Curbside and Digital Check-in Update: please confirm your approximate arrival time. Guests must also call upon arrival for Curbside OR Social distance check-in if not using Self Check in via email. Check-In time is between 2pm-9pm EST (14:00-21:00) EST. Guests will be taken care of in order.
Breakfast Update we are currently unable to offer our Maine Picnic Breakfast Buffet during COVID-19. The good news is while we cannot offer our breakfast, we are now offering Gift Certificates to some favorite local eateries such as www.congdons.com and www.fortheloveoffoodanddrink.com.!
House and Cottage Cancellation Update Our Cancel policy during COVID-19 is relaxed 30 days for House/Cottage due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Maine CDC and Local Guidelines: Masks are required when indoors (except while eating and drinking) and any time when social distancing is difficult, like waiting in line. Stores, museums, movie theaters and other buildings have limits on the number of people inside at one time. Ogunquit is asking everyone to wear masks when on the beach and on the Marginal Way.
Motel Changes and Updates: We are asking guests to call ahead before entering the office. Please send one person from your party in to the office and wear a mask (we also have them available). Housekeeping will not be entering the rooms for daily cleaning, but we have developed a new protocol to be sure you have everything you need. While this all feels strange and different, know we are the same warm and welcoming hosts we’ve always been and will continue to do our best to make you feel at home!
